Moroni — Chapter 3
1 This is how the disciples, who were called the elders of the church, made other people priests and teachers.
2 After they prayed to the Father in Christ’s name, they laid their hands on the person’s head and said:
3 “In the name of Jesus Christ I make you a priest (or a teacher), to tell people to repent and have their sins forgiven by Jesus Christ by having faith in his name to the end of their lives. Amen.”
4 This was how they made priests and teachers, choosing those whom God called to serve. They did this by the power of the Holy Ghost in them.
